Now we have an update on retired Moses Lake K-9 Chief who suffered a gunshot wound in February that required the removal of his left eye . The department says Chief continues to recover and regained much of his energy. He may need another surgery on his jaw but is doung well. The department thanked the WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital for the care Chief received especially in the hours after the shooting.
