The suspect in a Tuesday night arson in Ellensburg is now in custody. Police say DeMarco Covey torched a hay mound inside a barn at the Anderson Hay complex just outside the southwest corner of town. That barn was destroyed and Covey tried to destroy a second barn but it sustained partial damage. Cover was found in a nearby outbuilding. Damage is estimated at $1 million.
