Changes are made to Washington’s mail-in ballot requirements to make sure voters receive their forms in time for the November election. Secretary of State Kim Wyman is now requiring county officials to use first-class mail when sending replacement ballots or newly registered voter ballots at least 15 days before Election Day. This cuts the delivery time by between 1 to 5 days from the bulk mail standards used for initial ballot delivery.
