A preliminary autopsy in the death of a Grant County Sheriff’s deputs determines he was not the victim of foul play. The Grant County Coroner’s office didn’t release what caused 60-year-old Jon Melvin’s death last Friday saying it could take weeks before the results are available. According to the Sheriff’s office deputies went to Melvin’s home after family members couldn’t reach him. Melvin said he planned to retire in early 2021.
