A semi-truck is struck by a train on Thursday at a Rock Island railroad crossing. Police say it happened at the crossing near the dam when the crossing arms came down blocking the truck. The driver told investigators he tried to get the truck out but couldn’t before the train hit the back of his trailer pushing it 30 feet. No injuries were reported and charges may be pending.
