A man driving a tractor on Highway 2 near Dryden is killed in a collision with a pickup truck. Police say Ruben Pacheco Lopez was heading westbound on Highway 2 when the orchard tractor was struck from behind causing Pacheco Lopez to be thrown from the tractor. Both vehicles came to rest in the left lane. Pacheco Lopez died at the scene while the pickup’s driver was not hurt but a passenger was hospitalized.
