Doctors Ask ML Schools To Reconsider Opening Classrooms

Two dozen area doctors are joining with health directors and the Moses Lake Education Association in asking the Moses Lake School District’s board of education to forego in-person instruction when classes resume Sept. 9.
The school district offers three choices: in-person learning, online-only learning or a combination of both. The doctors say that it is in their professional judgement that widespread coronavirus transmission in Grant County makes it too risky to hold in-person classes.
