Last week two Othello Police Department officers completed a 40 hour Emergency Vehicle Operation Course that provided training on the safe operation of patrol vehicles. This course helps educate officers on situations where high speeds may be necessary along with training about various weather conditions. The two officers completed different exercises that tested their skills and helped them perfect their techniques. Current EVOC Instructor Sgt McFarlane helped his fellow Officers practice and become certified.
