A number of propane tanks exploded on Tuesday during a fire at a makeshift Moses Lake homeless camp. Firefighters responded to the West Marina Drive location which is a former lumber mill owned by Mick Hansen who offered the building for use after the city’s warming shelter closed last year. The tanks exploded shortly after the fire started. It’s said to be the fifth fire there this year. No one was hurt.
