A woman is dead from her injuries in a collision Monday on Eastbound I-90 near Thorp Highway in Kittitas County. Police say a 48-year-old driver from Federal Way left the roadway to the left then overcorrected resulting in their SUV rolling over ejecting the rear seat passengers. The woman identified as Karen Calderon Valencia was pronounced dead on Tuesday at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where two other passengers were brought. The driver is charged with speed too fast for conditions.
