Gunfire sparked brush fire near Beverly

MATTAWA – Gunfire sparked a brush fire Saturday near the town of Beverly. Grant County Sheriff’s officials say the fire quickly grew to two acres just east of the Beverly Sand Dunes. It wasn’t disclosed if the person firing the gun was cited. The investigation is ongoing. -0-
