With winter weather coming the Grant County Public Works Department is reminding the public on policies for removing vehicles that become stuck. If safe, stay in your vehicle, call for a tow truck or remove your vehicle some other way. Do not abandon your vehicle on a roadway or on a shoulde. Abandoned vehicles will be towed in order to clear roadways. Also remember to keep an emergency kit in your vehicles so you’re prepared if you do become stuck.
