This week Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake announced an expansion of its agricultural program. Beginning in the winter quarter students can enroll in an agricultural mechanic training certificate and degree program. Officials say ag program grads are in high demand and local career opportunities are plentiful with jobs in the sector accounting for more than a quater of the jobs in Grant County. Winter quarter classes begin Jan. 4.
