Washington State University issued a statement about the rise in COVID-19 cases in Pullman after Whitman County reported nearly 40 new coronavirus cases on Sunday. Officials say they have stepped up measures to combat COVID-19 by moving the fall semester to remote learning, implementing social distancing and teleworking as well as training WSU contact tracers to assist Public Health. Masks are required at all campus facilities and no gathering over more than 10 people are allowed.
