The person of interest in a Quincy homicide is now in custody. Moses Lake Police reported that Martiz Diaz was apprehended Wednesday behind Big 5 in Moses Lake after a short foot pursuit. On Tuesday Quincy officers responded to a Rocky Avenue NE home where a resident said a bag with human remains was in a room where Diaz had left it. The body is in the care of the Grant County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy to determine cause of death.
