Over 4,000 acres is consumed in the Saddle Mountain fire between between Othello and Royal City. Fire Information Officer Ben Shearer says four aircraft are battling the blaze in addition to crews on the ground from Mattawa, Royal City, Franklin County, Ephrata, Quincy, and Hanford are fighting the blaze. The fast-moving fire is burning on both sides of the mountain but as of Monday night no homes are threatened.
