Adams County deputies are searching for a hit-and-run driver who ran over a family’s dog at Lyle Lake campground. It happened late Thursday morning and deputies say the suspect was driving a silver-gray colored late 80s or early 90s Mazda pickup with a different colored tailgate. It was last seen heading southbound on Seep Lakes Road. The dog suffered compound fractures in the rear leg that required surgery.
