An accident on state Route 26 about 10 miles east of Royal City results in two people injured. Police say German Farias Acevedo of Othello was going eastbound Monday evening when he crossed the centerline and struck the left side of a westbound car causing both cars coming to rest in the westbound ditch. Farias Acevedo was airlifted to Kadlec Medical Center while the other driver was taken to Othello Community Hospital.
