The City of Moses Lake’s plans to build a homeless camp at Longview Tracks isn’t sitting well with the Moses Lake School District. Superintendent Josh Meek stated Thursday that the district is not supportive of the camp which would be located near Longview Elementary School. Meek says their first concern is the student’s safety and well-being so they want to make sure children, are not put in danger from this new development in the area.
