The investigation into a fire Saturday night in downtown Ephrata finds it was a homeless person who accidentally started the blaze. Crews were called to Moore Furniture on 2nd St. where spools that were once used to hold electrical cable that are owned by Grant PUD caught fire. Investigators say the individual was trying to cook food nearby when the fire spread to the spools. No one was injured.
