The chief medical officer of the Moses Lake Community Health Center died in an accident on Wednesday. The Moses Lake Fire department reports Dr. Larry Verhage was killed in a vehicle accident that happened on his property. Verhage has practiced medicine in Moses Lake for over two decades and became the center’s chief medical officer six years ago. He is survived by his wife of 21 years and eight children.
