A bill to legalize sports betting at tribal casinos is passed by a state Assembly committee and now will go the full House for a vote. Two years ago the U.S. Supreme Court reversed the sports betting ban and states have been working since then to start taking wagers. The 2018 session ends on March 13 so the House has to approve the bill and then a Senate version will need to pass before Gov. Jay Inslee can sign it into law.
