A car-semi collision Sunday afternoon near Ellensburg results in a 29-year-old man being killed. Police say Thomas Conger of Ellensburg was on Hanson Road heading eastbound when he failed to stop at the intersection with Cove Road. The semi driven by a Moses Lake man which was southbound on Cove hit the driver’s side of Conger’s pickup. He went into cardiac arrest as he was being airlifted from Kittitas Valley Hospital and was pronounced dead after the flight returned to the hospital.
