Officials with REC Silicon didn’t go as far as saying the Moses Lake plant will resume operations now the the U.S. China trade agreement is in place but instead say increasing production will depend on how the agreement is implemented. REC President Tore Torvund issued a statement saying it is really positive that the U.S. government has recognized the importance of the U.S. polysilicon industry. REC Silicon’s Butte, Montana plant continues to operate as the company awaits further trade agreement details.
