Gov. Jay Inslee is proposing legislation to permanently ban flavored vapor products and limit the amount of nicotine in vapor products. Inslee’s proposal also requires manufacturers to inform the Department of Health of the ingredients used to make vape products and limits the amount of product marketing. Last year the State Board of Health concluded that eliminating flavored vapor products would likely decrease initiation and use of vapor products and other tobacco products among youth and young adults.
