The 14th annual Waypoint Foundation Scholastic Chess Tournament takes place Saturday, Feb. 1 at parkway School in Ephrata. Check-in is at 7:45 a.m. with first round-matches starting at 8:30 a.m. Registration is free but is limited to the first 100 students. Deadline to register is Jan. 31 and we have registration information posted at our website i fiber one dot com. This year’s tournament has expanded to allow all students in K-12 in Grant County to participate.
