Stevens Pass is shut down until further notice between milepost 32 at Gold Bar to the Summit at milepost 64. The state DOT reports Westbound U.S. 2 is open from Leavenworth to the summit. Heavy snow causes trees and power lines to be weighed down causing the impassible conditions. On Monday State Troopers set up a convoy to get stranded vehicles off the pass and among those were three buses with middle school students.
