The Moses Lake Polar Plunge on Wednesday at Cascade Park wasn’t nearly as chilly as in years past with a high in the low 50s. The water temperature was just a couple degrees cooler according to the local buoy report. Participants psyched themselves up to jump into lake as the countdown to noon finished. This year’s event was sponsored by Hands ‘n; Paws Animal Assistance and the organization’s Sue Campbell says they work to help pet owners find ways for them to keep their animals.
