Trial for Wenatchee religious leader accused of nine sex crimes delayed

WENATCHEE – The trial of a religious leader and former Wenatchee school counselor accused of nine sex crimes has been pushed back to July 25. Michael Edward Wilson was arrested last year after two young men say they were sexually abused from 2020 to 2021 at Wilson’s home where they attended bible study. The 69-year-old faces a maximum penalty of up to life in prison. He has pleaded ‘not guilty’.
