ORONDO – A head-on crash near Orondo Friday afternoon claimed a life. Troopers say a car was passing another vehicle when it collided with a semi on US 2 near the US 97 interchange, causing the car to roll. The driver who was partially ejected, was killed. The driver of the semi was unhurt. The collision remains under investigation.
