MAZAMA – A motorcycle rider was injured after crashing into an SUV near Mazama on the North Cascades Highway/SR 20 Sunday morning. State Troopers say the 45-year-old Bellingham man was on his motorcycle without a helmet when the collision happened, as the biker was trying to pass the SUV which was making a left turn.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
