BILLY CLAPP LAKE – An Ephrata man and his dog were rescued Wednesday after falling through the ice at Billy Clapp Lake in Grant County. Bystanders used a canoe to bring the 70-year-old man to shore after he fell through the ice while trying to retrieve his dog, according to the sheriff’s office. He was treated for hypothermia. His dog was able to get out and is safe.
