Monday moring rush hour traffic stalls after truck fire on I-90 near Ellensburg

ELLENSBURG – Monday morning commuters were stuck in traffic after a semi-truck caught fire on I-90 near Ellensburg during rush hour. State troopers say the brakes on the truck seized up and overheated, causing the trailer to become engulfed in flames. The westbound lanes were completely closed for about an hour as firefighters extinguished the blaze. The right lane was closed for more than four hours. No injuries were reported in the incident.
