Soap Lake man arrested in connection to drive by shooting

EPHRATA – A 30-year-old man was arrested in connection to what appears to be a random drive by shooting on state Route 28 between Ephrata and Soap Lake Monday. The sheriff’s office says the suspect, identified as Soap Lake resident Kolton Dana, is accused of firing a shot at another driver on SR 28, striking the victim’s vehicle. Dana was booked into Grant County Jail for second degree assault. The victim told investigators he does not know Dana or why he shot at him.
