Wenatchee Wild’s Hockey Fights Cancer Night draws big crowd

WENATCHEE – The Wenatchee Wild had its biggest home crowd in nearly three years as fans turned out to support Hockey Fights Cancer Night in partnership with Confluence Health. Saturday’s game against Prince George drew over 3,500 fans, with proceeds going to support the fight against cancer. While the final amount is still be tallied, more than $15,000 was raised for the EASE Foundation, doubled what was raised last year. The EASE Foundation is a local group that supports cancer education and awareness.
