Quincy High School students stay home after Facebook shooting threat

QUINCY – Several absences were reported on Friday at Quincy High School after a Facebook post stating a shooting would happen. Quincy Police told iFIBER ONE News that the threat was not credible, but that didn’t deter parents from keeping kids home. As a precaution, police beefed up patrol at the high school on Friday. There was a lower than usual student attendance, the Quincy School District wrote in an email to iFIBER ONE News. Administrators say the school day went well without incident for students and staff in attendance.
