OTHELLO – Othello-based Columbia Basin Health Alliance (CBHA) donated $5,000 to the city of Mattawa’s parks and recreation division. The funds came from CBHA’s annual 5K color run, paired with another grant, and will be used to build an additional basketball court at Hund Park, with the goal of encouraging the community to engage in healthier habits, Mattawa’s Mayor explained in a promotional video posted by CBHA. The 2023 CBHA 5K Color Run will be held on Aug. 26.
