WASHINGTON (AP) – Social media posts strongly suggest the suspect that violently attacked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband with a hammer was a MAGA Trump follower. The weapon wielding intruder broke into the couple’s San Francisco home Friday and repeatedly struck Paul Pelosi, 82, in the head while shouting, “Where is Nancy,” according to reports. The Democratic congresswoman was in Washington at the time. Police have not identified a motive for the attack, but judging from the suspect’s violent online rhetoric and imagery of right wing politics, which escalated during Trump’s presidency, it appears to be politically motivated.
