WARDEN – Four people were taken to the hospital following a Tuesday afternoon chain reaction crash on state Route 17 west of Warden. Javier Sanchez-Zepeda, 27, of Othello, was driving a semi-truck on SR 17 when he reportedly collided with the back of a Suburu as the driver had slowed for traffic, pushing the Suburu into a third vehicle, according to the Washington State patrol. It was determined that Sanchez-Zepeda was following too close and citations are pending an investigation.
