The Moses Lake Police Department held its first BlueBridge Alliance fundraiser this weekend to help people in a crisis. On Saturday [Oct. 1] the Department hosted ‘Cops, Cars and Coffee’ in the Moses Lake Civic Center parking lot and raised about $500 towards MLPD’s BlueBridge Alliance Fund which provides assistance to community members in need through donations. The BlueBridge Alliance website says the program is aimed at building relationships between communities and police officers. The Wenatchee and East Wenatchee police departments are also involved in the program.
