Sentencing date set for Moses Lake man convicted in COVID19 extortion scheme

SPOKANE – A January 5, 2023 sentencing date has been set for a Moses Lake man convicted in a COVID19 extortion scheme. According to a press release, 29-year-old Dondre Jackson pleaded guilty to fraudulently obtaining two PPP loans totaling about $50,000 for his purported food service business, which was later determined to be fictitious.
