CLE ELUM – Windy weather is believed to have been a contributing factor in the drowing death of man in Cle Elum on Saturday. Kittitas County Coroner Nick Henderson says the victim and his family were on jet skis when he went under in Lake Cle Elum near Speelyi Beach, where the 33 year old, who was not wearing a life jacket, washed ashore, adding that ‘an exceptionally windy day’ made for rough waters.
