UPDATE — Fire crews have fully contained a small fire burning on the bluff across from ‘The Feathers’ climbing area on Vantage Road southwest of George. All evacuation alerts have been cancelled due to containment. Grant County’s District 3 Chief says the fire was held to about two acres. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but its suspected that the flames were sparked by fireworks. No structures have been lost and there have been no reported injuries.
