ELLENSBURG – Central Washington University’s police force is getting a makeover. According to an article, CWU was one of the first institutions to overhaul their image, when they swapped their militarized uniforms in 2017 for cargo pants and polo shirts. Now, the department says patrol vehicles will get a new look, with paint jobs of crimson and black, instead of the traditional black and white.
