The state’s Conservation and Recreation Office has awarded the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife a $150,000 grant to develop an outdoor target shooting site at Lake Lenore. The rifle and pistol range would be developed in the Sun Lakes Unit of the Columbia Basin Wildlife Area in Grant County. The $300,000 project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
