CHELAN FALLS – The ‘Farnham Fire,’ burning near Chelan Falls kept crews busy over the weekend. The 130+-acre fire has primarily affected the ridge line between the top of Chelan Hills Acres and McNeil Canyon, posing a threat to nearby homes. Multiple emergency vehicles could be seen near Beebe Park and US 97 battling the blaze that was reportedly sparked by a lightning strike Saturday night.
