QUINCY – Authorities have recovered the body of a man who presumably drowned Saturday evening near Crescent Bar. After a day and a half since he vanished into the Columbia River, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office announced on Monday, that the body of the missing rafter was located in the area where his vessel overturned, sending him into the water near the Willow Beach shore. The exact cause of death is pending an autopsy.
