MOSES LAKE – A lovers quarrel ended with a shooting and an arrest Monday. Grant County officers say a man who was arguing with his girlfriend opened fire on construction workers who intervened during the domestic dispute on Loop Drive. Byron Combs then fled the scene and attempted to swim across Moses Lake, but was quickly caught in the Alder Fill area. The 30-year-old is facing attempted murder charges.
