CASHMERE – Fun on the water turned scary for one man when his watercraft flipped in some rough rapids on the Wenatchee River in Cashmere Monday evening. Chelan County Sheriff’s officials say the submerged rafter had to be pulled from the water just west of the Applets Bridge. He was being treated at a local hospital.
