YAKIMA – A Yakima County Superior Court judge ruled in favor of a former Kittitas County inmate’s lawsuit filed for“unfair” medical bills at the jail several years ago. Robert Lambert was incarcerated at the jail in 2016 and contracted a serious infection that would up costing him over $12,000 in doctor fees. The judge determined the jail violated state law when Mr. Lambert signed paperwork assuming responsibility for the hospital debt incurred during his detention.
